TI protests against Women March

F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: The Tanzeem-e-Islami (TI), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter, on Saturday converged outside Peshawar Press Club to record its protest against the prevailing vulgarity in the society in the name of women rights, saying Islamic civilization has been replaced with that of western civilization.

Led by TI’s provincial Ameer Shamim Khattak and others, the protesters were carrying placards and banners inscribed with the slogans against growing obscenity in the society.

The protesters said, on the occasion, that Allah Almighty has started the genesis of humankind from a single pair of male and female and ascertained their rights and duties.

“Allah Almighty has created men and women equal, albeit with different sphere of influence” said the protesters.

They protesters added that, unfortunately, western civilization has turned the whole system topsy-turvy by altering the rights and duties of women and granting them unnecessary rights which they maintained had led to demoralization of the society.

The protesters stressed the need for effective measures to curb the menace of vulgarity in the society.
