Torrential rains: Rescue works continue in Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan Army and Rangers are continuing their relief and rescue operations in heavy rain hit Karachi areas as the torrential rain was continue in the financial capital of Pakistan from the past two days.

Karachi administration told media persons that Pakistan Navy are assisting in evacuating the stranded people from different areas of the city and shifted more than 300 people to safer places so far through motorboats.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Meteorologist Department (PMD) predicted more rain in Karachi and in other parts of the country.
