Train engine derails near Attock

ATTOCK: The engine of Khushal Khan Khattak Express derailed on Thursday morning near Attock city Railway Station.

The railway authorities said the train was carrying more than 300 passengers and it was departed from Karachi to Peshawar and they added that after the engine derailed, the train was stopped and safety of bogies was ensured

The derailment led to delays and disruptions on the railway track near Attock.

Earlier, on April 17, Quetta-bound Jaffar Express derailed near Aimanabad in Gujranwala in which 25 persons were injured including women and children.
