Trauma wards to be established in small hospitals of district: Nazim

PESHAWAR: District Nazim Peshawar, Muhammad Asim Khan Wednesday sought a report from Medical Superintendent, Dr Siraj Ahmad to apprise himself regarding problems faced by patients in Naseer Ullah Babar Hospital.

He also directed Dr Siraj to submit a demand to district government for providing all the necessary equipments in Intensive Care Unit, Blood Bank, and Ventilator machine. He said that it is prime responsibility of hospital authorities to provide best healthcare facilities to patients.

He said that trauma wards would be constructed in all the small hospitals of the district that would help treating emergency patients of city environs at their doorsteps.
