Istanbul: Turkish & Pakistani Commerce Ministers met in Istanbul to rejuvenate trade ties. Care Taker Federal Minister for Commerce, Industries & Production Dr. Gohar Ejaz during his meeting with Turkish couterpart H.E Mr. Omer Bolat said huge potentials exist to enhance bilateral trade between Turkiye and Pakistan and called for exploring all new avenues of investments at the optimal level.

Furthermore, he said the bilateral trade and economic relations weren’t to the level which needed to be as Turkiye & Pakistan have enjoyed a strong trade, economic, diplomatic and common cultural relations. Dr. Gohar Ejaz mentioned that the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) was signed in August 2022 between Turkiye and Pakistan, which is a step forward to further improve the mutual trade and economic relations between the two countries.
