Two killed, one injured in Dir road mishaps

TIMERGARA:  Two persons were killed and one injured in two different road accidents occurred at Talash here on Thursday, residents and police said.

They said a truck loaded with bricks was coming from Mardan to Timergara. It went out of the driver’s control at Bandagai Talash and crushed a car coming from the opposite side. Driver of the car identified as Muhammad Zaman son of Gul Zaman, a resident of Kitiari Adenzai was killed on the spot while his friend Sultanat Khan son of Shah Jehan, a resident of Mula Baba Mingora Swat was critically injured. The truck driver escaped from the scene after the incident. The injured was rushed to the DHQ hospital Timergara. The Talash police registered a case and started investigation. The car was badly damaged as the truck rimmed into it and fell upon it.

Similarly a youth identified as Ikramullah, a resident of Pato Talash was killed when a motorcycle he was riding on skidded off the road at Pato and plunged into a deep ravine. The deceased was a teacher at a local private school in Ziarat Talash.
