Two motorcyclists killed in Balakot mishap

BALAKOT: At least two people died when an over speeding loaded dumper crushed a motorcycle at Sanday Sar Balakot here on Tuesday.

According to the police sources, an over speeding dumper B-640 which was coming from Balakot crushed a motorcycle where the motorcyclist 20 years old Saad Shah son of Kosar Ali resident of Phagla died at the spot while his friend 31 years old Nabeel Khalid son of Muhammad Khalid resident of Phagla critically injured and could not survive and died in the hospital. Saad Shah was an employee at Rasalpur and came home on vacations. After legal formalities and postmortem police handed over the dead bodies of both ill-fated motorcyclists to the family while the funeral prayers of both friends were offered in their native village Phagla. Balakot police have registered a case against the dumper driver and started a search to arrest him.
