Two people injured in an explosion in Kabul

KABUL (Interfax): An explosion occurred on the road near the Pedagogical University in the fifth district of Kabul on Saturday evening, there are casualties, the Aamaj News reported, citing the Taliban Interior Ministry (Taliban, a terrorist organization banned in Russia).
“The Taliban government’s interior ministry said two civilians were injured as a result of a roadside mine,” the statement said.
None of the armed groups operating in the country claimed responsibility for the incident.
At the end of 2021, cases of explosions in Kabul became more frequent, for almost each of them the militants of the Islamic State in Khorasan group, which is an offshoot of the Islamic State terrorist organization, took responsibility for almost each of them. Meanwhile, Taliban representatives have repeatedly stated that IS does not pose any threat to Afghanistan.
