US-North Korea summit: The home run for Pyongyang administration

Hamza Athar

“Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer”. The Pyongyang Administration has recently shaken hands with the South at DMZ. The slogan “a peaceful Korea” has made its presence felt around the world.

The question now arises, what if the monologue of the coliseum results, a neutralized South and a defensive U.S? The writer exquisitely designed the diegesis for a prosperous North Korea. Recently, Kim Jong-Un regime agreed to march with Seoul’s administration in the Winter Olympics under one flag. The President also sent her sister to the South as a friendly gesture. To soften the dough, all it needs is water. Moon Jae-In regime started to show visible signs of a defensive South.

A weak South Korea is a strong North Korea. Pyongyang administration is now going for the direct talks with U.S, using South as a diplomatic shield. Trump administration will enter into the Summit in a slightly defensive mode. The announcement of the denuclearization process from the North, forced U.S to take a step backward.

Donald Trump wants to be marked in the history books, for dealing with the Kim Jong-Un regime over denuclearization process.

Pervious U.S administrations failed to deliver in such matter. North will enter into the summit as a heavyweight. In the summit, Pyongyang administration will immediately demand for the removal of the nukes, positioned in the South if North is to suspend their nuclear testing sites.

The continued demand will be for the dislodgement of U.S troops from South Korea.

U.S will have no choice but to surrender with exiguous changes. No military assistance and nukes would create a sense of disbelieve in South’s mind. Seoul’s administration, after hearing such decisions will lead to neutral behavior towards U.S. Seoul will slowly stop participating in U.S matters as an ally, ending the romantic South-U.S alliance.

It will be the perfect time to hit the hot-rod. North, as a brother from another mother will offer sympathy and friendship towards the Moon Jae-In regime.

Resulting, the formation of geo-strategic partnership among themselves. U.S will seek a new ally in that region and the potential contender will be North Korea.

Pyongyang administration will make ways to collaborate more with U.S, ending up as regional ally. U.S-North Korea summit would prove to be the game-changer if North acts smartly. Kim Jong-Un have to play from both sides of the pitch.

Closer relations with each other mean an ally of U.S and a geo-strategic partner of South. So, the successful summit means, the home-run for North-Korea.
