LANDI KOTAL: Deputy Director FATA University, Zahir Khan said that initially classes of FATA University to be established in Landi Kotal will be started on temporary basis in boys Degree College however it will be shifted after setting up full-fledged building of the University campus.
He expressed the views following visiting Landi Kotal Teshil along with Assistant Director Higher Education Commission Tajamul Khan, Additional Political Agent Mir Raza Auzgan and Planning Officer Khyber Agency Faridullah and Assistant Political Agent, Landi Kotal for site selection of the University campus. The officials inspected different localities in Zakha Khel, and Zayrai for construction of the project. Zahid Afridi, an ex-candidate for NA-44, offered provision of 240 Kanal piece of land free of cost for setting up of the education scheme. The officials also visited the Degree College and examined it different section.
They were agreed that whenever it initiated, the classes of the University would temporary carried out in the College building and later on completion of the University campus building it would be moved to it. The tribesmen welcomed the decision of the establishing of FATA University campus in Landi Kotal and said it would bring educational revolution in the area.
