Vohra left MQM-P as he couldn’t sustain pressure of money laundering case: Sattar

KARACHI: Chief of of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Farooq Sattar has said that Deputy Mayor Karachi, Arshad Vohra left the party as he couldn,t handle the pressure of case registered against him by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and join the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).

Sattar said while talking to private news channel on Tuesday, he said that Vohra will receive a clean chit from the case as he sent the funds to London through proper banking channels.

He added that the changing the loyalties of political leaders with different tactics is not good for the city politics and people see the acts negatively and adding that these negative tactics will strengthen the party further and in the coming election MQM-P will get more seats than ever.

Sattar added that Vohra claimed he left the party because of poor performance in the local bodies then why he didn’t call me, when I was only a call away from him.

Responding to a question, he said that he has not taken any decision to de-seat Vohra from his post in the city council.
