Women among three persons killed in Mardan

MARDAN: Three persons including a woman were killed and another female received bullet injuries in separate incidents in parts of the district, police officials and locals of relevant areas told here on Sunday.

 In the first incident, two brothers identified as Pir Izat Shah and Pir Fazal Shah gunned down their own brother named Pir Zubair Shah and injured his wife (S )in Pirano locality.

The injured widow told officials of Hoti Police Statiion that the accused opened indiscriminate firing after enter their house killing her husband on the spot while she herself received bullet wounds. She told police that her slain husband had a dispute with his brother over the house which led the said in fatal incident.

Police had lodged FIR against the alleged killers on the complaint of injured widow who had managed to escape the scene after committing REthe murdered crime.

In the second incident, unknown killers shot dead a rickshaw driver in Nisata road Janabad area. Relatives and residents of the area concerned blocked Charsadda Chowk for traffic and held protest demonstration against the killing incident. They demanded of the police administration to arrested the killer forthwith so that to provide speedy justice to heirs of slain person. The victim was identified as Fazal Shah.

In the third incident, officials of Toru Police Station had found dead body of a thirty-years old woman in Gohati Nullah. They had taken dead body of slain woman into their custody and shifted it to nearby hospital for postmortem. Police had registered FIR and had started further investigation in to the case so that not only to identify the victim and her killers but also real motive behind the killing incident.
