KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Government Economic Aide Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar has participated at an economic meeting in Herat City, the capital of Herat province.
On its Twitter handle, the Prime Minister’s Economic Affairs Office, wrote that Mullah Beradar said the construction of an industrial park in Pul Hashim area, the launch of phase 5th of Herat industrial park, the Pashdan and Kadanki Dams were seriously under consideration.
He said: “Security was vital for the economic security and progress of the country and Afghanistan achieved it after four decades.”
He said the construction of Pashdan and Kadanki Dams were under serious consideration and the practical work on TAPI Dam would start soon.
“We are aware that businesspersons and industrialists in Herat City were kidnapped but today they were secured.
I want the governor and security officials of Herat to ensure the safety and security of investors and industrialists,” he said.
