20 injured in train crash

BERLIN: At least 20 people were injured on Tuesday when a subway train crashed into another in the western German city of Duisburg.

“A subway train ran into another in the tunnel at Auf dem Damm station,” a police representative told local media. Nearly 20 passengers with light injuries were treated at the scene, while two seriously injured people were transferred to hospitals.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear. (AA)
