Govt taking structural reforms to accelerate economic growth: Khusro

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Khusro Bakhtyar says the government is committed to undertake structural reforms to accelerate and sustain economic growth.

Talking to Country Director World Bank Patchamuthu Illangovan in Islamabad on Thursday, he highlighted the main contours of 12th five-year Plan which envisages stabilizing the national economy and transforming the country into an emerging economy.

Patchamuthu Illangovan apprised the Minister that the World Bank is launching the report ‘Pakistan@100’ that discusses options for Pakistan to increase its economic growth in the medium term.

He said the report will be launched on 18th of this month.
