KABUL (BNA): Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, has called for collaboration with a Turkish charity organization, IHH, to develop housing projects for Afghans returning from abroad who are in need of shelter. According to a statement from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, Hanafi met with officials from IHH in Kabul. He expressed his appreciation for the organization’s efforts and requested their cooperation in creating job opportunities and rebuilding homes for returnees. During the meeting, Mujahid Khalich, a representative of IHH, briefed Hanafi on the organization’s activities, functions, and plans. He highlighted their contributions to mosque reconstruction, agricultural development, well drilling, employment generation, and assistance to the families of martyrs, disabled individuals, and medical treatment in Afghanistan. The organization expressed its commitment to expanding its activities in the country, aligning with Hanafi’s request for increased collaboration. This partnership aims to provide much-needed support to returning Afghans, particularly in the area of housing.
