Provision of free domicile certificate to begins

LANDI KOTAL: Special drive of provision of free domicile certificate to the students of state-run schools was inaugurated here in government high school for boys, Zen Tara, Tehsil Landi Kotal on Wednesday.

In this connection a gathering was organized in the school that was attended by Political Agent, Khyber Agency Khalid Mehmood as chief guest beside Assistant Political Agent (APA) Landi Kotal Niaz Muhammad, Tehsildar Shams-ul-Islam, numbers of tribal elders, Principals and Headmasters, teachers and students.

Speaking on the occasion chief guest PA, Khalid Mehmood said keeping in view the difficulties being faced by the students and their parents, the administration with collaboration of education department initiated the scheme to supply free domicile certificates to the students.

He added that in first phase, it would supply to students of grade 7th to 10th and then the facility would be extended to lower grades.

He asked the teachers community not to charge cost of photo from the students as it would pay by the administration.

“Following foot prints of Khyber administration, the government has directed other tribal regions to provide free domicile certificates to the students”, PA maintained.

The political top official urged the parents to utilize all energies to decorate their children with ornaments of education.

Agency Education Officer (AEO) Jadoon Wazir  in his speech appreciated the positive step of  provision of free domicile certificates to the students  and said it would curtain mismanagement in issuing of the certificate to non-locals.

The education department had facilitated educational institutions of remote areas with all basic necessities including lack of teaching staff and strict monitoring had been conducted to ensure presence of teachers.

Malik Darya Khan Afridi, Malik Masel Khan Shinwari and Malik Khalifa Shelmani also spoke on the occasion.

Students of the schools presented Naat and nationals songs that amused the audience. At the end PA gave away free domicile certificated to 250 students of the schools.
