PTI steering country out of crisis: Yousafzai

BANNU: Provincial Information Minister, Shaukat Yousafzai has said that Imran Khan led PTI government is steering country out of crisis and due to prudent approach and policies a large number of countries are expressing willingness of doing business with Pakistan. He expressed these views while speaking as chief guest at the oath taking ceremony of office bearers of Bannu Press Club here on Monday.

Shaukat Yousafzai said when PTI leadership took the reign of government, country was inundated under heavy debuts. However, now due to proper economic policies and positive approach by Prime Minister, Imran Khan, country is fast coming out of crisis. These loans, he added, were taken by previous governments and we have to pay them back. Information Minister also criticized former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif for failing to build a suitable hospital in the country where he could get proper treatment despite remaining country’s head for thrice.

Referring to demands presented by media men in the welcome address, Information Minister said government would take all possible means for the benefits of journalist community. He held out assurance of developing Journalist’s colony in Bannu and said he will try to provide this facility to newsmen at each district of the province. About a demand of annual grant, Shaukat Yousafzai said he will try to ensure provision of Rs. One million as annual grant to Bannu Press Club.
