PTI will support if Qadri takes to the streets: Imran Khan

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), ha said that his party will join Tahir-ul-Qadri if he decided to come to streets for justice.

Imran Khan said this while talking to media persons on Thursday after appearing before the anti-terrorism court (ATC) in terrorism cases related to PTI and PAT sit-in in 2014.

Police informed the ATC Judge Shahrukh Arjumand that Imran is cooperating in the investigation and is no longer absconder.

Babar Awan, counsel of Imran Khan told that they already challenged the ATC jurisdiction in these cases.

The court then adjourned the hearing until December 11.

Imran Khan added that 2014 sit-in was peaceful and instead of him CM Shahbaz Sharif and Law minister Rana Sanaullah should face the terrorism cases in the court after killing innocent people in the 2014.

He demanded again the resignation of Shahbaz Sharif and Sanaullah after the Model town incident of 2014 report. This is not the democratic way of government this is the fascist government for targeting the opposition for their own agenda.

PTI chief showed its full support for the Tahir-ul-Qadri regarding his call of protest and asking the workers to stay alerts.

The ATC is hearing four cases against the PTI chief including assault on state television building, the Parliament and SSP Asmatullah Junejo.
