Security arrangement finalized for Rabiul Awwal

LAKKI MARWART: A meeting chaired by DPO Arif Shebaz Khan at his office finalised security arrangements for 12rh of Rabiul Awwal. An official privy to the meeting said that foolproof security arrangements would be ensured for Milad gatherings and processions in Lakki city and Darra Pezu and other towns of the district.

He said that police would establish temporary check posts at several places at part of security plan to check individuals and vehicles entering the district especially to the towns where Milad processions would be taken out on 12th of Rabiul Awwal. “A good number of cops will be deployed along the processions to provide security to the participants”, maintained the official, adding that policemen in civvies will also perform duty in busy public places so to monitor movement of suspects and anti social elements.

He said that the district police chief directed subordinate officials to ensure implementation of security plan in letter and spirit. The DPO also directed to launch search operation in parts of the district ahead of 12th Rabiul Awwal so as to bring miscreants and suspects into clutches of law”, he added.
