Senate election likely to be held on March 2, 2018

ISLAMABAD: The election of upper house is likely to be held on March 2 net year and the schedule will be announced in the February.

As per details, as many as 52 members of the senate will complete their term and the new members of the Senate will be elected on March 2 and they will take oath on March 11, 2018.

Some of the prominent members who completed their term are including chairman Raza Rabbani, Aitzaz Ahsan, Ishaq Dar, Mushahid Hussain, Azam Khan Swati, Talha Mehmood, Shahi Syed, Ilyas Ahmad, Farhatullah Babar, Rubina Khalid, Zulfiqar Khosa, Asif Kirmani, Murtaza Wahab, Tahir Mashhadi, Farogh Naseem, Taj Haider, Kamran Michael, Osman Saifullah, Hafiz Hamdullah, Israrullah Khan Zehri.
