Thousands most needy families to benefit from OIC aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will distributed 11,000 food baskets to the most needy families in six provinces of Afghanistan as part of its second phase food distribution project.
On its Twitter handle the OIC said: “On Thursday, April 13, 2023, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (#OIC) office in the #Afghan capital, #Kabul, announced the commencement of the second phase of the project to distribute food baskets to the most needy families in #Afghanistan.” It added: “This phase will witness the distribution of 11,000 food baskets in six Afghan provinces. The project is being implemented with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), and in coordination with the #Afghan Red Crescent Society.”
