KABUL: The unknown attackers entered in the compound of Shamshad TV, a private TV Channel office in Kabul and started firing in the office and gunshots can be heard.
The local media reported that one person has been killed and three others were injured when a suicide bomber reportedly detonated his explosives and later the three gunmen entered the Shamshad TV compound and stormed the building.
Director News Shamshad TV, Abid Ehsas told media persons after the attack that such coward attacks will not stop them from doing our work and raising voice of the poor masses.
Ehsas added that attacker detonated explosive at their gate and two attackers entered the building and started shooting on Staff.
This attack on media and on the voice of people to stop them from raising voice for their rights but we will not stop our jobs of doing in the better interest of the masses, Ehsas added.
Local media reported that at least two persons were killed including a woman and 20 others were injured in the attack
As per the local media, Taliban has denied any involvement in the attack.
