Gulalai disqualification: ECP dismisses Imran Khan reference against MNA Ayesha Gulalai

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday rejected the disqualification reference filed against disgruntled PTI MNA Ayesha Gulalai and now she will remain members of National assembly from PTI.

Sources told that in the short order, two members of the ECP bench informed that the reference against MNA Gulalai was dismissed which was filed by her party PTI.

Ayesha Gulalai thanked the lawyers and members of ECP and criticized the PTI Chief Imran Khan for his behavior towards the government institutions and disrespecting it.

She said in Imran Khan’s Naya Pakistan attacking and threatening the institutions will be allowed which we seen as their leaders were attacking verbally the respected ECP members just for their own benefits.

She added that if Imran Niazi being people on roads then I will come out on streets in support of institutions. She also blamed that Imran Khan has links with the Taliban because every political party was attacked except PTI where music is played often.  Today’s ECP decision is a victory of Fauzia Kasuri and others sidelined by the party, she added.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan had filed the reference against Gulalai, seeking to denotify her from the National Assembly seat.
