ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said 2019 will open new doors of development and prosperity in the country and adding that the PTI led government is committed to continue Jihad against the poverty, illiteracy, injustice and corruption.
PM Imran Khan said this while sharing his views on Tuesday on his twitter.
PM wrote “Our New Year resolution is to wage jihad against the 4 ills of our country: poverty, illiteracy, injustice and corruption. InshaAllah 2019 is the beginning of Pakistan’s golden era,”.

Similarly, President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi also congratulated the nation on the New Year and hoped that Pakistan would remain steadfast on the path of development and eliminate poverty.
Terming 2019 a year of progress, Director General (DG) Inter -Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Dec 31 expressed hope in the national pursuit for a peaceful, prosperous and vibrant Pakistan.
