Pop-Queen Madonna’s 14th studio album to be released June 14

WASHINGTON (Reuters): Madonna announced that she will release her 14th studio album on June 14.

“Madame X” will be her first album in four years and the follow-up to her 2015 record “Rebel Heart”.

The highly-anticipated “Medellin” video release was delayed, but fans of the material girl got to hear the first track from the record after the artist tweeted a link to it on Spotify.

Those hoping to have a sneak peak of the video will have to wait until April 24th when the collaboration with Colombian star Maluma will premiere during a globally televised MTV music event.

A master of reinvention, Madonna revealed a new alter-ego called “Madame X”, and launched her manifesto in which she plans to travel around the world, fight for freedom, and bring light to dark places.

The U.S. pop singer/songwriter, record producer, actress and director made her breakthrough in 1984 when she signed a record deal and made her first two big hits “Like a Virgin” and “Holiday”. Since then she has gone on to win seven Grammys and sell more than 300 million records worldwide.

Madonna is recognised as one of the world s most successful female recording artists.
