PESHAWAR: On the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Ministry of Interior has written a letter to the commandant Frontier Constabulary (FC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for the deployment of FC personnel at the residence of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Dera Ismael Khan for security purposes.
Sources in the government told the 24News TV channel that an FC platoon would be deployed at Fazl’s residence.
The sources further said the decision had been taken to prevent any unpleasant incident.
The prime minister had met with the JUI-F chief a week and a half ago and expressed his concern over the attempt to kidnap his son.
