MUMBAI: Hrithik Roshan took to social media earlier today and revealed that his father Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early stage cancer. He further revealed that the filmmaker would be undergoing surgery today. The caption on the picture read, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn’t miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. It’s good to know that despite a surgery being scheduled for later in the day, Rakesh Roshan made sure that he doesn’t miss out on his morning workout. Here’s wishing the filmmaker a speedy recovery as we hope to see him at his healthy best soon again.
