F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Dr. Saif has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should be given full seats in the Senate from KP which is our right.

In statement on Saturday, he said that for some time, Election Commission has started a series of hostility with PTI. Barrister Dr. Saif said that anti-PTI campaign continues on behalf of Election Commission.

He said that the PTI is being pushed out of the political process under a campaign. The Senate election became controversial due to the unconstitutional and legal decisions of the Election Commission, said Barrister Seef.

He said that due to the wrong decisions of the Election Commission, the issue of reserved seats arose in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He further said that in the case of reserved seats, the Election Commission violated Section 104 of the Election Act. Barrister Dr. Saif said that we have reservations about the decisions of the Election Commission on the issue of reserved seats.

The Election Commission does not have the authority to misinterpret the Constitution, Barrister Dr. Saif said.

“Election Commission’s attitude against PTI is biased and we do not trust the Election Commission, Adviser Information concluded. (PPI)
