WASHINGTON (RIA Novosti): The command of the American military base “Anacostia-Ballin”, located in the Washington area, warned the personnel about the possible presence of an armed man on the territory.
“If you run into him and you have a safe route, run. If not, hide,” says a post posted on the military facility’s Twitter account.
The guards blocked the base. The suspect is described as a black man of average height with a Gucci bag.
Last week, at a bus stop at the Pentagon compound, a 27-year-old Georgia resident attacked a police officer and then committed suicide. A passer-by was injured. The building was closed, people were not allowed out of it for some time. Local media reported three casualties.
The suspect, according to media reports, had a criminal record, several months ago he was accused of aggravated beating of a police officer and threats related to terrorism.
