CHARSADDA: An alleged terrorists were killed on Thursday as security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Sarki area of district Charsadda to foil a “major terrorist activity”, Security sources said.
According to the official sources that Pakistan Army under the Operation Raddul Fasaad (RuF) in Sarki area is progressing as planned.
According to the local forces officials, the operation has been yielding steady results: one terrorist have been eliminated. Army troops, including personnel from the Counter Terrorism Department were the part of operation.
Local sources confirmed that the alleged terrorists were shifted from District Swat due to his personal enmity and they were resident in the rent house in the area.
The official confirmed that the alleged terrorist wanted to police and army forces in various criminal cases, “During exchange of fire a soldier, Sepoy Wajid Ali, laid down his life for the motherland,” the official said. According to information, no militant group claimed responsibility of the incident.
