BISEM conducts 1st-Ever Online Exam for 9th Grade Computer Science

MARDAN: The Mardan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has successfully conducted the first-ever online examination for 9th grade Computer Science students. This pilot project marks a significant step towards a paperless examination system.

According to Chairman Fared Ahmed Khan, the Mardan Board has introduced several reforms, including SLO-based papers and e-marking for Physics and English subjects. The online examination project is another feather in the board’s cap, making it a pioneer in the country’s educational history.

The online exam was held at two prominent educational institutions, Colonel Sher Khan Cadet College Swabi and The Fazal Haq College Mardan, which were equipped with the necessary facilities. A specialized software was used to conduct the exam, allowing students to appear for the paper online.

Chairman Fared Ahmed Khan termed this achievement a major success for the board, calling it a significant step towards a paperless examination system. He emphasized that this system will not only speed up the examination process but also eliminate errors.

This innovative approach is expected to pave the way for a more efficient and technology-driven education system in the country.
