Chairman directs NAB to verify several complaints

Islamabad: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will verify the complaint against former Senator Saifullah Bangash, Capital Development Authority (CDA) and others for constructing commercial plaza on a community plot reserved for marriage Hall in Sector G-6 in violation of CDA’s building by laws and rules.  This was decided in a meeting which was held on  Tuesday with Chairman NAB Justice(R) Javed Iqbal  on the chair.

The meeting authorized DG, NAB Rawalpindi to conduct complaint verification against the alleged silence of CDA management on blatant violation of building bye laws.

The chairman NAB ordered complaint    verification to DG NAB Multan against former minister Syed Tanveer Gilani .

A precious land was allocated to Anjuman e Islamia Multan at Shah Shams Road for welfare purposes. Initially Anjuman established a school at land and  then closed it after some time showing losses. Later  the President of Anjuman e Islamia Multan, Tanveer Gilani misused the land for personal gains  and handed over it to the some private  businessmen, who constructed two marriage halls and a school there . Tanveer Gilani illegally received million of rupees rent from private persons.

The meeting ordered DG NAB Karachi to conduct complaint verification against caretaker vice chancellor of  Federal Urdu University ,Salman D Muhammad on illegal  recruitments in grade 17 &18 by abusing authority.

VC illegally elevated a junior clerk Adnan Akhtar from grade seven and given him the charge as director Protocol in grade 20. VC Salman is also accused of tempering the official record and allegedly having fake PhD degree.

The chairman NAB during the meeting  authorized complaint verification for allegedly non transfer of Rs 180 million students funds by education department to Hilal e Ahmer Pakistan. As many as Rs 100 per month is being collected from three million students of colleges and schools by education department, Punjab.

The funds are not being transferred into the account of Hilal e Ahmer.
