LAHORE (APP): Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday met with Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman. Mohsin Naqvi informed the governor about the 13-month performance of the caretaker setup.
The Chief Minister also presented a book to the governor about the performance of the caretaker government.
The governor while appreciating Mohsin Naqvi and the cabinet for completing public welfare projects in a record time said that the supervisory cabinet under his leadership had set a good example of public service, transparency and governance.
CM Naqvi inauguates new lab, collection center at SIMS: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the newly built lab and collection center at Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) Lahore late Saturday night.
The chief minister also cut the cake on the occasion of the inauguration of the 42nd project of the health sector. Later he went round different sections of the lab and the collection center.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi appreciated Commissioner Lahore Division, Secretary Health, Secretary of Construction and Communications and his team for completing the construction of new lab and collection center in a shortest period of time.
He also praised the quality of the new lab and the collection centre. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the reception of the new lab and collection center and interacted with the staff.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the establishment of the best lab and collection center in a very short time was a good omen. The SIMS will also get revenue from the new lab and collection center, said Mohsin Naqvi.
Secretary Health gave a briefing to CM about the project. Provincial Ministers Dr. Javed Akram, Mansoor Qadir, Aamir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Adviser Wahab Riaz, Chief Secretary, IG Police Secretary Construction and Communications, Commissioner Lahore, CCPO, Special Secretary Health, Deputy Commissioner Principal SIMS, MS Services Hospital and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
