MARDAN: A cruel person allegedly tortured to death his own minor daughter in Chamrang village of Garikaoora area here on Saturday. The slain minor girl was identified as Thania Gul.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the officials of Garikapoora police station, revealed that the accused identified as Zahoor Muhammad had wedded second marriage after giving divorce to his first wife. After divorce, the accused’s first wife also contracted her second marriage.
However, the police told that the second wife was also residing in her parents’ home now-a-days after developing differences with her husband (the accused).
The alleged killer had four children including the victim from his first wife, they added. The officilas told that father of the accused brought some edible items for his grandchildren to cook for themselves.
As the accused had also not good relations with his father that was why he expressed his anger over his daughter that why she took the edible items from her grandfather. The accused was infuriated by the said act of his father which led him to torture to death his minor daughter Thania Gul,12.
