Govt prohibits entry of males, photography in KP girls’ schools

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has prohibited the entry of male members and photography by irrelevant persons in girls’ schools across the province, on Friday.

According to details, the KP Education Department has imposed a complete ban on the entry of men into girls’ schools in the province.

KP Director of Education Muhammad Iqbal said that girls’ schools could not invite any male special guest to their programmes or events. Only female special guests could be invited, he added.

He also prohibited photography by irrelevant persons in girls’ educational institutions.

The KP Education Department said that the decision was taken keeping in view the complaints registered on the Citizen Portal.
