Half of students pass Lahore Board 9th class exam

LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore (BISE Lahore) officially announced the much-awaited results for the 9th class annual examinations. A total of 295,121 candidates, including 153,966 girls and 141,155 boys, took part in the exams this year.

Of the total candidates, a significant 49.60% successfully passed their exams. Delving further into the data, 94,888 private candidates and 200,233 regular candidates enrolled for the exams, showcasing the breadth of students the board caters to.

For the convenience of students, the board has uploaded the results on its official website, https://www.biselahore.com/. In addition, candidates wishing for a quick review of their scores can send their roll numbers via SMS to 80029. BISE Lahore officials guarantee a prompt response with the exam result.

Moreover, as an alternative method of access, the results will also be available manually through official gazettes. These gazettes will soon be published and distributed by boards across the region.

It is not just Lahore that is in the spotlight today; other Punjab boards have unveiled their results for the Secondary School Certificate (9th Class) Annual Examination 2023. Among these boards are Multan, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha, DG Khan, and Sahiwal. The simultaneous release is part of a coordinated effort to streamline academic progressions across Punjab.
