KABUL (Pajhwok): Information and Culture Minister Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah has said besides establishing Jihadi museums, a “Jihadi Archive” will also be created to preserve the heritage of jihad.
In a statement, the Ministry of Information and Culture said that Khairkhwah met with Qari Gul Haidar Shafaq, the Governor of Jawzjan province.
During the meeting, the Jawzjan governor discussed the activities of the provincial Directorate of Information and Culture, the plan to establish a “Jihadi Museum” to preserve the historical heritage of jihad, the construction of a public library building in Faizabad district, and the development of lands belonging to the Directorate.
The governor talked about providing facilities for tourists in the province and addressing challenges faced by youth.
In response, Khairkhwah assured attention to the mentioned issues.
He stated that in order to preserve “Jihadi heritage,” a “Jihadi Archive” will be created alongside museums, and the history of jihad and past struggles will also be documented.
