Kajol penned a tributary post to commemorate the 30th anniversary of her first film Baazigar with Shahrukh Khan.
The My Name is Khan actress recalled that she was just 17 years old and it was the first time she had ever met King Khan, following her debut movie Bekhudi.
She wrote: “#Baazigar completes 30 years.This set was a whole lot of firsts. The first time I worked with Saroj Ji, the first time I met Shahrukh Khan, the first time I met Anu Malik, and I was 17 when I started the film.”
Moreover, Kajol praised the directorial duo of Abbas-Mustan for treating her with “the indulgence of a favourite child.”
“And how can I forget Johnny Lever and Shilpa Shetty.. So many good memories and unstoppable laughter.To this day, every song and dialogue brings a huge smile to my face,” she continued to thank her co-stars.
Baazigar, which was directed by Abbas-Mustan, starred , Shilpa Shetty, Johnny Lever, Rakhee Gulzar, and Shah Rukh Khan as its main cast members.
Bollywood fans also gushed over the evergreen chemistry between Kajol and SRK as they praised them for being “the best Bollywood couple.”
“My favorite couple of all time! We miss you both! #wewantsrkajolback,” wrote a follower while several fans asked for them to reunite on screen again, “Come back to us, you two. We need this love again. Some love stories never end!”
