Mercury falls below freezing point in Kalat

ISLAMABAD: The weather became severe in intensity as the mercury fell below the freezing point in Kalat, Balochistan, on Thursday.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature during the last 24 hours was recorded at minus 2 degrees Celsius.

On the other hand, the continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.

Islamabad Weather

The weather in Islamabad is expected to remain cold and dry today. There is a possibility of strong winds in Islamabad in the morning, according to the Meteorological Department.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Weather

The weather will remain cold and dry in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Meteorological Department said.

Punjab Weather

The weather will remain cold and dry in most districts of Punjab, the Meteorological Department said.

There is a possibility of fog in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Okara, Mian Chanu, Bahawalpur and Multan.

Balochistan Weather

The weather will remain dry in most districts of Balochistan, the Meteorological Department said.

It will remain cold in the northern districts of Balochistan.

Sindh Weather

The weather will remain dry in most districts of Sindh, the Meteorological Department said.

Sukkur and surrounding areas are likely to experience light fog during the morning.

AJK & GB Weather

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to experience cold and dry weather, the Meteorological Department said.
