Nawaz shows concern over fairness of upcoming general elections

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said now it is clear that some forces trying to disrupt the election process and starts pre-poll rigging which will not acceptable to anyone.

This he said while talking to media persons outside the accountability court on Monday. He said that everyone should be given an equal chance to contest elections and if the pre-poll rigging continues then such kind of election would be acceptable to any political party and we will resist on it.

He added that Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar also expressed the same voices which were being made by his political opponents Imran Khan and Asif Zardari.

PML-N leader added that he doesn’t believe in any judicial martial law and adding that he have doubts all over this.

Nawaz, flanked by his daughter Maryam and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar, appeared before the accountability court in a reference pertaining to their Avenfield properties in London.
