NDMA notification about flights restoration cancelled

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: The NDMA notification allowing international flights operations from the national airports from April 5 has been cancelled.

The NDMA sent a directive to chief secretaries of the four provinces and the chief commissioner of Islamabad calling for setting up quarantine centres in hotels near eight airports of the country.

The move was aimed to bring back stranded citizens from abroad as the coronavirus outbreak continues to affect overseas travel.

Pakistan had banned all international flight operations across the country and even suspended domestic travel.
