Non-use of Afghanistan’s territory: Position of Islamic Emirate cleared

KABUL (TOLOnews): Rejecting the claim of the Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan about the security of Afghanistan’s borders, the Islamic Emirate said that the position of the Islamic Emirate is clear regarding the non-use of Afghanistan’s territory to attack other countries.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, told TOLOnews that the deported refugees from Pakistan are first identified and then they receive permission to enter Afghanistan.
Before this, the Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan said that they have not seen any progress regarding the commitment of the Islamic Emirate to the security of borders. We never let any group use Afghan soil against any country and we have got no such groups in Afghanistan either, to bother any country, Zabihullah Mujahid added.
Russian media outlet TASS quoted Semyon Grigoryev, Russian Ambassador to Dushanbe, saying that there is a possibility of the presence of terrorists among the refugees deported from Pakistan and their transfer to the northern provinces of Afghanistan.
Another destabilizing factor in Afghanistan is the massive influx of Afghan refugees displaced by Pakistan to the northern provinces. In addition to changing the ethnic composition of the local population, with the inevitable conflicts, terrorists may also be among the refugees. Russia will do anything possible to prevent aggression against its allies, one of which is Tajikistan, TASS reported.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jailani in the phone conversation with Iran’s foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, also said that terrorism is a joint challenge for the security in the region.
“The issue of deportation and terrorism are not related to each other and Afghans are scared anywhere,” Political analyst, Wais Nasiri told TOLOnews.
The Islamic Emirate has promised the people of Afghanistan and the world that the Afghan soil is not used against any country, so the Islamic Emirate should be committed and for all that I see, they work hard in Afghanistan and must continue their efforts, said Zakiullah Mohammadi, another political analyst.
Before this, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) had claimed that northern Afghanistan is a threat to the member countries of this organization.
