Officials directed to speed-up anti-encroachment operation

BANNU: Deputy Commissioner, Muhammad Ali Asghar directed the officials to speed-up the anti-encroachment operation in the area with the aim to provide some assistance to public in this regard.

Earlier, DC inspected the area and showed displeasure over the illegal construction and directed the officials to start crackdown against the encroachment and demolish it without any taking pressure from anyone. In the recent crackdown the district administration team demolishes several illegal constructions including wall of Cantt Police Station on Miran Shah Road.

The operation was started under the umbrella of Beatification plan of KP. DC said that the operation will be continue till the elimination of last illegal construction in the area as it was creating problems for the commuters in the area.

Meanwhile, Ahle Sunat-ul-Jumat demanded to merge the tribal belt into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Provincial President of Ahle Sunat-ul-Jumat, Alama Atta Muhammad Zeeshani said on the occasion that Khatme Nabout is the integral part of our faith and also endorse merge of Fata into KP. This he said while addressing to Khatam-e-Nabowat conference held in Bannu Press Club on Wednesday.

The speakers also appreciated the recent step taken by provincial government for announcing salary to the Imaam of mosques and adding that it will be helpful for the Imam for getting daily bread for their families. They also announced that the party will take part in upcoming elections.
