Overseas Pakistani gets back his Rs 142 million

LAHORE: Due to the consistence pursuance of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, an expatriate Pakistani has succeeded in getting back his 142 million rupees. Vice Chairperson OPC Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti informed in this regard that Muhammad Shoaib, settled in UK lodged a complaint that he paid Rs 142 million in 2015 to a party for the sake of investment.

According to the agreement the other party was supposed to pay profit but it had failed to do so for last three consecutive years. This complaint was referred to District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Lahore for settlement of the issue.

The members of DOPC, especially Additional DG OPC, DIG Agha Yousaf made hectic efforts and at last the accused party handed over cheques of Rs 142 million to Muhammad Shoaib.
