PESHAWAR: In a significant crackdown on the illegal trade of narcotics, weapons, and contraband substances, Capital City Police Peshawar launched a meticulously planned operation, led by the diligent and resourceful SSP Operations, Kashif Abbasi.
The operation, conducted under the watchful eye of SSP Abbasi, saw the apprehension of several individuals involved in nefarious activities, bringing them to justice and ensuring the safety and well-being of the city’s residents. During the operation, which was conducted based on confidential information received, a vacant property in a private residential area was raided.

The meticulous search of the premises led to the discovery of a significant amount of illegal substances. A staggering 930 bottles of various types of liquor and beer were seized. These illicit goods were destined for distribution not only within the city but also to residential and rural areas, highlighting the scale of the criminal enterprise dismantled by this operation. In addition to the liquor haul, a vehicle used for transporting these illegal substances, a rickshaw, was also confiscated during the operation.
The vehicle had been ingeniously utilized by the criminal network to facilitate the widespread distribution of alcohol, posing a significant threat to the peace and order of the city. What further distinguishes this operation is the cooperation received from the arrested individuals. During preliminary interrogations, they not only confessed to their involvement but also disclosed crucial information about the preparation and supply chain of these banned substances. Their revelations have paved the way for further investigations, leading to the identification of other members involved in this nefarious trade.
