Police reach PTI Secretariat as Hamad leaves for Peshawar

F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: As soon as the news of Hamad Azhar’s presence at the PTI secretariat, police conducted a raid to nail one of the prime accused in the May 9 riots.

However, before the police raid, Hamad Azhar left for Peshawar.

Hammad went into after May 9 when the PTI mob stormed state assets and sensitive installations across the country to vent their spleen over the arrest of ex-PM Imran Khan in a corruption case.

In his statement at the PTI secretariat, Hamad said he received a message from the PTI founder yesterday.

He cited Imran Khan as saying: “Now it is time to come out.”

Hamad said he would go to Peshawar and appear before the court to get bail before arrest.

“Now all underground leaders including Murad Saeed will come out.”
