PESHAWAR: PTI leader and former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has admitted that giving an extension to former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was the biggest mistake of his party therefore PTI seeks apology from the nation for committing grave mistake.
Addressing the media along with opposition alliance leaders, Asad Qaiser said PTI will never support any future extension.
He said martial law is practically in effect in Pakistan at the moment. Asad Qaiser demanded that all cases of PTI should be heard according to merit.
He said PTI will continue to use all forums inside and outside the parliament for cases against Imran Khan. He said opposition will soon give its protest plan. He said the disqualification of opposition leader of the Senate and the National Assembly, was no less than mockery of democracy and judicial system.
PTI leader said in democratic world, members of the assembly can visit jail. He said it is against the law to prevent a member of the assembly from going to jail.
Mehmood Achakzai said that the door of extention should be closed for all. He said constitution is a social contract, if it is violated, the foundations of Pakistan will be shaken. He said when Nawaz Sharif was in jail, Maryam Nawaz used to visits with legal gathering. He said NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq used to accompany the gathering while meeting Nawaz Sharif in jail.
Achakzai said when PTI lawmakers were arrested from the parliament why Speaker Ayaz Sadiq did not take action.
He said NA Speaker could not challenge colonel. Zubair Umer said every Pakistan wanted to raise voice against the system. He said PDM has completed three years term.
Zubair claimed elite class was responsible for economic losses and inflation has broken all records. He claimed middle class has ended.
