Rabbani ignored Nawaz Sharif’s unconstitutional acts: Zardari

F.P. Report

QUETTA: Former President and Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari has criticized the party senior leader and outgoing Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani for ignoring the Nawaz Sharif’s constitutional violations in the last three years.

Zardari said this while talking to the media representatives in Quetta on Friday. Zardari has a meeting with the Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo.

Former president said that he did not want to speak harsh about the party’s Senate chairman but Rabbani failed to address the PPP’s reservations regarding the 18th amendment.

He added that Rabbani also ignored Nawaz’s violations of the Constitution and adding that this may be the reason why Nawaz is seemingly close to Raza Rabbani.

Meanwhile, CM Bizenjo told the reporters that he has requested the PPP-co chairman to support a candidate from Balochistan as the new Senate chairman. Zardari responded by saying that the party will hold consultations regarding the matter but the final decision will be made by the party’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
