Sahil hospital case: NAB summons PML-N’s Rana Azfal Khan today

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau has summoned leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Rana Afzal Khan for an inquiry into Sahil Hospital case, on Thursday (today).

According to reports, former minister of state for finance has been asked by the anti-graft watchdog body’s Lahore chapter to appear before it today.

PML-N leader has been once director of the hospital and he is called in that capacity.

Rana Afzal was also directed by NAB to bring details of sources of income, expenditures, annual audit report and other necessary details of the hospital along with him.

He has served as Minister of State for Finance and Economic Affairs in the Abbasi cabinet from December 2017 to May 2018.

Rana Azfal Khan had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, from June 2013 to May 2018.

Previously, he remained a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab from 1997 to 1999 and again from 2008 to 2013.
